Science Lab Kits for 200 Rural Schools

Portable, repairable experiment kits for schools that have a science syllabus but no laboratory.

Science equipment laid out for a classroom

Why this matters

A large number of government schools teach practical science entirely from diagrams because there is no lab and no budget for one.

The kit is deliberately low-tech: everything in it can be repaired locally, and nothing in it needs mains electricity. It covers 22 experiments across the Class 6–10 syllabus.

Each kit costs ₹8,400 including a teacher training session and a year of consumable replacements.

Distribution is prioritised by district, starting with Chittorgarh, Bhilwara and Rajsamand.
