Conference Travel Grants for Early-Career Researchers
Covering travel and registration so that a first conference is not decided by a supervisor's discretionary budget.
Why this matters
Presenting at a conference early is one of the strongest predictors of staying in research. Access to it is unevenly distributed and often arbitrary.
Grants cover travel, accommodation and registration up to ₹65,000 for international conferences and ₹18,000 for domestic ones.
Applications are assessed on the strength of the accepted abstract and demonstrated need — not on institution.
